FAQs

Arriving

Tender is located on 535 Sydney Road in Brunswick. Our main entry is at the rear of the studio down the laneway next to 38 Ovens St. Please note there is no parking available at the studio, there is a parking lot located on the corner of Breese and Hope St. Bicycle parking can be found on Ovens St, Sydney Road or Hope St.

We have ramp access via Sydney Rd entry, please get in touch if you have any access needs. Tram route 19 services Sydney Road and the nearest train station is Brunswick Station (500m).

What to bring

Mats and blocks will be provided at the studio, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Facilities

We have two toilets (one ambulant) which serve as changerooms located at the rear of the studio. There is no shower. Please don’t hesitate to let us know in advance if you have any specific requirements to accommodate.

Arrival time

Please aim to get to the studio at least 5 minutes before the class starts so we can get you registered, signed in, changed and settled in for practice. Our doors will be locked once class starts.

Phones

Please place phones and other belongings in the pigeon holes provided. Please ensure that all devices are switched off or on airplane mode as to not disturb other students.

Cancel a Class

If you can longer join your class, cancelling in good time often means someone else has the chance to practise. Please see this guide on how to cancel a class.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel at least 3 hours before class to keep your credit (class packs & drop ins) or avoid a late cancellation fee (members & trials). This also applies to people on the waitlist

  • Members: $5 for second no-show or late cancel per month

  • 10-Day Trials: $10 charge for second no-show or late cancel in the 10 day period

Cancellations less than 3 hours before start are considered late cancels.

Waitlist Policy

If a class is full, you're welcome to join the waitlist – if a spot opens up, you’ll be automatically moved into the class and notified via text and/or email.

  • Joining the waitlist means you’re committing to attend if a spot becomes available.

  • Plan on attending class if you are on the waitlist

  • The waitlist stays active until 60 minutes before class begins.

  • If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist before the 3 hour cancellation period

  • If your cancellation happens within 3 hours of the class, it's considered a late cancel, and the class credit will be forfeited – just like a regular booking.

In short: Only join the waitlist if you plan to attend, and keep an eye on your messages so you don’t miss a spot.
